ABOUT RON HENLEY

Chess master who won the world chess Grandmaster title in 1982.

He was a dominant player at Mirabeau B. Lamar High School as well as at the University of South Florida.

In addition to his playing success, he began producing numerous instructional chess tapes.

He was born in Houston, Texas.

He won his Grandmaster title by defeating Tony Miles .
