ABOUT RON HORNADAY SR.
Former American race car driver and member of the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame.
He made his NASCAR debut at the 1955 race at Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix.
He was the NASCAR Pacific Coast Late Model Series champion in 1963 and 1964.
His son Ron Jr. and grandson Ron III also raced in NASCAR.
He fathered a family of racers much like the great Dale Earnhardt .
