ABOUT ROY EATON

Pianist who served as the in-house musician for the advertising agencies Young & Rubicam, Benton & Bowles and Roy Eaton Music Inc. for three decades. He is a member of the Advertising Hall of Fame.

He grew up in Harlem and won a gold medal at the Music Education League competition at Cernegie Hall in 1937.

He served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean War, where he worked in a hospital radio station.

His wife passed away as a result of a car accident in 1957.

He and Cyrus Curtis are both members of the Advertising Hall of Fame.
