
ABOUT ROY GALáN
Spanish writer, columnist, influencer, and activist known for his books and his column on the website of the Spanish television network La Sexta. He is also known for his collaboration with the magazine Cuerpomente where he has a podcast called Roy's Voice.
He was a student at the Canarian School of Literary Creation. He studied Law at the University of La Laguna and graduated in 2003. He worked for eleven years in the administration of the Government of the Canary Islands before he began writing professionally in 2013.
He was awarded the Krámpack Award by the Extremadura International LGBT Festival. He is a big supporter of feminism and likes discussing feminism on his various platforms.
His full name is Roy Fernández Galán. He was born in Galicia, Spain. Most of his childhood was spent in the Canary Islands. He has a twin sister named Noa. He was raised in a same-sex family with two mothers. His mother Sol died when he was 13 years old.
