ABOUT RUBEN RUA

Television actor and presenter recognized for his appearances in Dança Com as Estrelas, Somos Portugal, and Academia de Moda. He has also played recurring roles in Meu Amor and A Única Mulher.

After earning a degree in communication from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, he spent his early years working as a model. He would model for a variety of brands, from Dolce & Gabbana to Valentino.

In 2016, he published the book Podes Ser Tudo, an autobiography about his experience as a model.

Born to Ana and José Rua, he has a sister named Filipa. He was married to actress Sofia Ribeiro from 2011 to 2012.

In 2017, he joined José Fidalgo in the cast of the feature film Leviano.
