ABOUT RUDOLPH ISING

Animator and cartoonist who co-founded Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Warner Bros. animation studios.

He got his start with partner Hugh Harman while working at Walt Disney's studio in Missouri during the 1920s.

During the 1940s, he and his partner created training films for the Army.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri.

Though he helped pioneer the distinct Disney style, he was criticized by many for trying to take credit for the aesthetic that Walt Disney allegedly created.
