She began her career in television on the hit Filipino TV series That's Entertainment.

She is the winner of four PMPC Star Awards and has made appearances in the films Manay Po 2 and Pasukob.

She is the cousin of another That's Entertainment personality, Jean Garcia .

She and Lou Diamond Phillips both were born in the Philippines.
