ABOUT RYUJI UTOMO

Indonesian center-back who has made a name for himself as a member of teams such as Persija Jakarta and the Indonesia national team. With his help, the Indonesia national under-23 team won bronze in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.

He spent his youth career as a member of Deportivo Indonesia and Persib Bandung.

He made his international debut for the Indonesia senior team in a 2017 match against Myanmar. He shares moments in his life as a soccer player and family man on his ryujiutomo Instagram account, where he has amassed over 550,000 followers.

He was born to a Japanese mother and an Indonesian father. He has been married to sports television presenter Shabrina Ayu since 2019. Their daughter was born the following year.

He and Otávio Dutra have both been members of Persija Jakarta.
