ABOUT SALMA PARALLUELO

Spanish soccer player who kicked off her professional career with Zaragoza CFF before transferring to Villarreal in 2019. In 2022, she joined Barcelona Femení. At the international level, she represented Spain in the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup and the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.

She competed as a sprinter before launching her soccer career.

She earned two gold medals in the 400m hurdles event at the 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival. She shares highlights from her soccer career on her salmaparalluelo Instagram account, where she has gained upwards of 500,000 followers.

Her full name is Salma Celeste Paralluelo Ayingono.

She and Sandra Paños became teammates in 2022.
