Jordanian-Palestinian writer and political activist. He founded the webpage WashingtonStakeout.com. He has written articles for publications including CounterPunch, The Nation, The Washington Post, USA Today and Salon.
He is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University , where he earned a double bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and logic and computation.
He wrote an article for Salon in 2020, suggesting that the COVID-19 outbreak was a result of a laboratory discovering the virus in the wild, and studying it before it escaped.
His father was a Palestinian Christian and his mother was a Jordanian Christian.
In 2018, he was removed from the Russia-United States summit press conference before the arrival of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin .
