ABOUT SAMANTHA DE JONG

Best known by the nickname Barbie, she rose to fame appearing on the Dutch reality series Oh Oh Cherso. She would go on to appear on Oh Oh Tirol, Barbie's bruiloft, and Samantha & Michael Houden Zich Thai.

She began her presenting career in 2001 appearing on RTL Boulevard.

She has released several singles including 2010's "Oh Oh Cherso" and 2011's "Tirol, Let's Lick!"

She married Michael van der Plas in 2012. The couple divorced in 2017. They had two children, Milano and Angelina.

She was a part of the Oh Oh Cherso cast alongside Bibi Breijman .
