Journalist, author, actress, performer, entertainer, artist, and disability rights advocate who was an ambassador for Scope,
ADD International, Parallel Global and a patron of Head2Head Theatre. She was named as third on The Shaw Trust Disability Power 100 List of 2020. Her television credits include ITV's Loose Women and Good Morning Britain, BBC One's Morning Live, Sunday Morning Live, and Rip Off Britain. She was on BBC Two's Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

She was a modern languages teacher.

In the year 2022, she released a book called You Are the Best Thing Since Sliced Bread. She was a columnist for the Metro and has written for The Huffington Post and PosAbility magazine. She played Alice in the 2013 British independent film Little Devil.

Her parents were not aware she would be born with a disability. She has an older sister.
