ABOUT SANAA JAMAN

Yoga guru and wellness practitioner known for her work in Kuwait, Morocco, Indonesia, South Africa and the United States. She hosts international retreats, revolutionary workshops and teacher training programs. Her yoga journey began in 2013, when she ran an at-home practice. In 2015, she launched the #DorkTour workshop series.

As a child, she had an early interest in mathematics and problem-solving. As a teenager, she battled depression and anxiety.

She is a survivor of sexual and physical abuse. In 2016, she received her doctorate in environmental engineering sciences from the University of Florida . Many of the photos she has posted on her ladydork Instagram page are of her practicing yoga, sometimes at the beach.

She was born and raised in Kuwait for 17 years. She is fluent in Arabic and English.

She and Yoga with Kassandra are both internationally-respected yoga gurus.
