ABOUT SEAN GARRETT
Atlanta based R&B singer and producer who became famous for writing songs for A-list artists such as Beyonce , Usher , Fergie and Jay Z , among several others. In total he has produced over a dozen number one singles.
He earned an A.A. in business from the University of Maryland's program in Germany. He worked as a mortgage broker before turning to music.
He wrote the hit song "Yeah" by Usher , which landed at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade for 2000 to 2009.
He was born Garrett Hamler in Atlanta, Georgia, but goes by the stage name Sean Garrett. His father was in the US military.
He and George Martin both earned the distinction of producing over 15 number one singles in a seven year span.
