She graduated from Monroe Woodbury High School and studied criminal justice at Rockland Community College.

She has auditioned for both The Voice and American Idol.

Her parents are of Albanian descent. Her father passed away when she was thirteen years old.

She and Mallory Hagan are both Miss New York winners.
