Sergey Sobyanin

ABOUT SERGEY SOBYANIN

Russian politician who rose through the ranks to become the 3rd official Mayor of Moscow in 2010. Previously, he was the Governor of Tyumen Oblast, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Head of the Presidential Administration.

He studied at both Kostroma Technological Institute and the All-Union Correspondence Institute of Law.

He is a member of the United Russia political party.

He was married to his wife Irina from 1986-2014. His daughter's names are Anna and Olga.

He was nominated for election to the Duma of the Tyumen Oblast by President Vladimir Putin .
