ABOUT SERGIO CORDOVA

Forward for the Venezuela national team who began playing for the Bundesliga club FC Augsburg in 2017 after spending 2015-2017 with Caracas.

He was brought up through Caracas youth system from 2013 to 2015.

He represented Venezuela at U-20 level, and won the Goal of the Tournament award at the U-20 World Cup. He also played at the level at the South America Youth Football Championship.

His full name is Sergio Duvan Córdova Lezama and he is from Calabozo, Venezuela. He spent time in Germany.

He and Rani Khedira both signed with FC Augsburg in 2017.
