ABOUT SEUND JA RHEE
Highly productive Korean artist who worked as a painter, printmaker, and ceramics artist.
She began her studies in South Korea, but later transferred to a Japanese university. Years later, she studied art in Paris.
She finished nearly 2,000 pieces of art and had nearly 400 exhibitions during her lifetime.
She married and had three sons.
She and "Star Trek" actor John Cho were both born in South Korea.
