ABOUT SHAHZADA DAWOOD

Pakistani business executive famous for his work with the Dawood Group. His untimely death made international news when he and his son passed away in the Titan submarine accident in 2023 as they set out to explore the Titanic.

He earned an LLB from Buckingham University and an MSc in global textile marketing from Philadelphia University.

Besides his work with his family's business, he served as the vice-chairman at the Engro Corporation and as a director of the Dawood Hercules Corporation. He was honored as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2012. He delivered a speech at the United Nations in 2020, commemorating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

He had two sisters and one brother. His grandfather founded the company that he worked for.

OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush was among those that passed away in the Titan incident.
