ABOUT SHAKIB AL HASAN

All-rounder for Bangladesh cricket starting in 2007, he became the world's top-ranked Test all-rounder in 2011. In 2015, he became the first all-rounder to be simultaneously ranked number one in Tests, ODIs, and T20s.

He first played for the Islampur Para Club in the Magura Cricket League.

He played for the Worcestershire team in England, becoming the first Bangladeshi player ever to play for an English team.

He married a Bangladeshi-American student named Umme Ahmed Shishir.

Tamim Iqbal , his teammate on the 2007 and 2011 Bangladeshi World Cup teams, was present at his wedding.
