He started his career as a director of several television programs. He then made his feature film directorial debut in 2019 when he released Bole Chudiyan.
His short film Miyan Kal Aana based on the law of Halala won several awards at different film festivals throughout India.
He is the younger brother of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui .
He worked directly with actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Rajpal Yadav while directing the 2019 film Bole Chudiyan.
