ABOUT SHANE WHITAKER
Rose to fame in late 2015 producing and appearing in viral videos on BuzzFeed. As a member of the BuzzFeed Motion Pictures staff, he has worked on popular videos like "Native Americans Tried On 'Indian' Costumes And Things Got Uncomfortable."
After graduating from Evergreen State College , he interned with Servant Partners before joining BuzzFeed in October 2015.
One of his most popular BuzzFeed creations is "The Struggle Of Being Mixed Race" released in January 2016.
He grew up in Wenatchee, Washington and later lived in Olympia.
He appeared alongside fellow BuzzFeed staff members Daysha Edwei and Michelle Khare in the video "This Is What No One Tells You About Being Assaulted."
