ABOUT SHARI SEBBENS
Award-winning film and television actress and performer who is best known by her role in the 2017 Marvel film Thor: Ragnarok . She has also gained recognition from her roles in Thor: Love and Thunder , Redfern Now, The Heights and many other projects. In 2024, she was cast in a starring role in the thriller film Quiet.
Prior to her professional acting career, she attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. She also attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
Due to her highly-acclaimed performance in the drama series Redfern Now, she earned an award for 'Most Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Series in a Drama Series' during the 2013 The Equity Ensemble Awards. She also received an award during the 2013 Logie Awards.
Growing up, she lived with her family in Darwin, Australia. She is one of six siblings.
She co-starred alongside Chris Hemsworth in the Marvel film Thor: Ragnarok.
