ABOUT SHERIFF SINYAN

Professional defensive midfielder that was initially signed by the Holmlia Sports Club in 2013. He has also played for the Lillestrøm Football Club and the Molde Football Club during his career. He first began playing for the Gambian men's national team in 2019.

As a child, he originally began playing soccer for the Oppsal youth club. He then joined Holmlia's youth club where he played up until 2013.

He made his official international debut with Gambia playing against the country of Guinea on June 7, 2019. His team won the game 1-0.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Oslo, Norway. He was born of Gambian descent.

He shares a July 19th birthday with Jinder Mahal and Jon Jones .
