His birth mother is Pilar Biggers-Sanders . Deion and Pilar divorced in 2011, and Deion was awarded primary custody of him and his brother and sister in March 2013.

His brother's name is Shedeur and his sister is Shelomi . He has half-siblings named Deion Sanders Jr. and Deiondra Sanders .

His father was the NFL Defensive Player of the year in 1994, when he was teammates with Steve Young and Jerry Rice on the Super Bowl-winning San Francisco 49ers.
