He made his acting debut in 1977 performing as Ryuichi Iwsaki in the television series J.A.K.Q. Blitzkrieg Squad.
In 1979, he played the character Maki in the television series Megaloman.
He was born and raised in Japan.
He was part of the 1978 television series Spider-Man . He was cast as Spiderman, who is played by Tobey Maguire in later film adaptations of the character.
