ABOUT SILVYE ALVES

Brazilian journalist, television presenter, reporter, copywriter, and politician. She rose to international fame when she began working at Italian RAI, which is the largest broadcasting company in Italy. She transitioned into politics in 2022 and was elected federal deputy for Goias in October of 2022.

Prior to entering politics, she worked for Brazilian media companies TV Anhanguera Goiânia and TV Integração Uberlândia.

In the 2022 elections, she won her position by the largest voting margin in history for that district. She is known to post photos from her worldly travels, as well as other snapshots from life, to her silvyealves Instagram page.

She was born and raised in Goiânia, Brazil.

Manuela d'Ávila is a Brazilian politician who also began her career as a journalist.
