ABOUT SKETCHY BONGO
Known for his trademark ski mask and sunglasses look, he is a multi South African Music Award nominated music producer who became the first producer from South Africa to earn a feature on MTV Base.
He played his own songs in Durban nightclubs beginning around 2012. He was about 13 years old when he first began producing his own beats and making hip hop music.
He joined a creative collective known as The Wolf Pack. He would also sign with American labels Ultra Music and Sony Music.
He was born Yuvir Pillay from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
He played with Diplo in Johannesburg in 2017.
