ABOUT SMAEL MONDON JR.

Professional inside linebacker that was taken with the 161st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles . He previously played college football at the University of Georgia . While at Georgia, he won the 2022 NCAA National Championship game.

He was rated a five-star recruit while at Paulding County High School. During his high school career, he played quarterback, running back and wide receiver.

He recorded a career-high 13 tackles while playing against Georgia Tech during the last regular season game of his collegiate career. He and his teammates won the game by a score of 44-42.

Growing up, he lived with his parents in the state of Georgia. He was born of Nigerian descent.

He was coached by Kirby Smart while at Georgia.
