Her father released his hit song "Isn't She Lovely" in September 1976.
In July 2023, she joined her father and family as they gathered to celebrate her 38th birthday at Catch steak in West Hollywood.
She has a brother named Kwame Morris. She has half-siblings named Aisha Morris , Keita Morris, Mumtaz Morris, Sophia Morris, Kailand Morris , Mandla Morris and Nia Morris.
Her father collaborated with Elton John , Dionne Warwick and Gladys Knight on the 1985 song "That's What Friends Are For."
