ABOUT SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM

Professional shooting guard who was drafted by the Phoenix Mercury during the second round of the 2019 WNBA Draft. Prior to being drafted, she attended the University of Missouri from 2015 until 2019.

She graduated from Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri.

Growing up, she credited Diana Taurasi as being her biggest basketball influence. She began playing for the Indiana Fever in 2025.

She grew up living with her family in Columbia, Missouri.

She played alongside Brittney Griner as a member of the Suns during the 2019 WNBA season.
