Rescue cat made famous on Instagram before her death in June of 2017. She still has over 150,000 followers on Instagram.

She lived for five years in the home of a hoarder before she was rescued and sent to a boarding house.

She actually made good friends with a neighbor cat named Scottie about two years after she was rescued from her boarding house. He came to visit her every day at her home in Boston.

Her owner lives in Boston, Massachusetts and adopted another cat named Louie that now uses Sophie's old Instagram.

Tofu Cat and Woodhouse the Cat are two cats who also became famous on Instagram.
