ABOUT STEPHON CASTLE

Collegiate combo guard and athlete who originally enrolled into the University of Connecticut as a freshman in the year 2023. Following that season, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. While playing for Team USA, he earned a gold medal during the 2022 FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship in Mexico.

He was considered a five-star prospect while at Newton High School. As a senior, he was named a McDonald's All-American.

He made his official NCAA debut while playing against the University of Northern Arizona on the date of November 6, 2023. He scored 12 points in a 95-52 UCONN victory. He stands six feet, six inches tall, and weighs approximately 215 pounds.

He was born and raised in Covington, Georgia. He is one of three siblings.

He was once named the Big East Freshman of the Year just like Patrick Ewing , Maurice Harkless , and Rudy Gay .
