ABOUT STEVE BONO

Former NFL quarterback who was named the AFC Player of the Year with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1995.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 1985 after playing college football and baseball at UCLA.

He won his only Super Bowl title with the San Francisco 49ers in 1990.

He and his wife have two children, including his son Christoph, who is also a quarterback.

He played with teammate Ronnie Lott in Super Bowl XXIV.
