ABOUT STEVE HAMER

Former professional basketball player and athlete who briefly played for the Boston Celtics of the NBA from the years 1996 through 1997. He played the center position during his short lived basketball career.

He played collegiate basketball at the University of Tennessee . He also went to Middleton High School in Tennessee.

He wore the number 42 on the court. He appeared in a total of 35 games during his time with the Boston Celtics. He stands an even seven feet tall and weighs close to 250 pounds.

He was born in Tenessee.

Both he and Larry Bird have played for the Celtics.
