ABOUT STEVE HELLING
Journalist, author, television producer, and reality TV star known for being a Senior National News Reporter at the New York Post, for working at People Magazine and ReelzChannel, for being a guest and panelist on the Nancy Grace Show, and for being a contestant on Hulu's reality competition show Got to Get Out.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. He began his writing career in 1996. He joined People Magazine in 2000 and would go on to write over a thousand articles. His TV break came after he was cast on Nancy Grace in 2005.
He worked in the editorial department on the shows Murder Made Me Famous and Scandal Made Me Famous. He is the author of the books Tiger: The Real Story and Outrage!: The Casey Anthony Story
He was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. He and his wife Emma have six children, including four adopted from Haiti.
He appeared on the show Got to Get Out, hosted by Simu Liu in 2025.
