ABOUT STEVE REDMOND

Center back who made his professional debut in 1989 for Manchester City and also made more than 150 appearances for Oldham Athletic and Bury.

From 1982-1984, he played youth soccer for Manchester City.

His last pro season came with Leigh RMI in 2003-2004.

He was born in Liverpool, England.

Midfielder Garry Flitcroft was his teammate on Manchester City in 1991-1992.
