ABOUT STEVE SABOL

Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker, poet, and co-founder of NFL films. His poem Autumn Wind became the anthem for the Oakland Raiders.

He played football for Colorado College.

He was the recipient of over 40 Emmy Awards in a number of categories and was given the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003.

He had one son Casey with his ex-wife Lisa. Afterwards, he married Penny Sabol.

He was awarded the Dan Reeves Pioneer Award, which was also given to Vince Lombardi .
