NHL right winger who spent 20 years in the league, scoring 20+ goals during nine seasons. He played for 6 different teams throughout his professional career, including the Detroit Red Wings and the New Jersey Devils. He finished his professional career in 2004.

He scored an impressive 35 goals in his third season with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

He and Ray Ferraro picked up the slack to lead the New York Islanders to the Stanley Cup after team star Pierre Turgeon went down.

His son, Christian Thomas, was drafted in 2010 by the New York Rangers.

He was in the hockey movie Youngblood, which starred Rob Lowe .
