ABOUT STEVE TORPEY

Former striker turned coach that played soccer professionally for over 20 years. He played his entire club soccer career in various leagues across England. After retiring in the year 2011, he began his professional managerial career.

As kid growing up, he played within the Millwall F.C. youth ranks. He eventually signed his first professional club contract with Millwall in the year 1989.

While playing with Scunthorpe United, he won the 2006 Football League One title. He played in exactly 239 matches with Scunthorpe United during his seven years with the club. He is quite tall, standing at 6'3".

He is a native of Islington, England.

He played the position of striker during his professional career just like Diego Costa and Robert Lewandowski .
