ABOUT STUART MACRAE
Defender who played internationally for England from 1883 to 1884 and played professional soccer for Notts County, Newark Town, and Corinthian.
He played several different sports growing up before pursuing soccer professionally.
He was the first president and captain of the Newark Golf Club.
His parents were Duncan and Grace MacRae.
He attended Edinburgh Academy; one of the original directors of the school was novelist Walter Scott .
