Suzy Batkovic

ABOUT SUZY BATKOVIC

Former five time WNBL champion and six time WNBL Most Valuable Player that played professionally from 1999 to 2019. She has also made appearances as a member of the Australian national team, winning a silver medal at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics.

She began her professional career playing for the Sydney Uni Flames of the Women's Australian National Basketball League.

After being drafted by the Seattle Storm during the 2003 WNBA Draft, she made history becoming the only Australian player to be drafted that year.

She is a native of Newcastle, New South Wales.

She played alongside Lauren Jackson as a member of the Storm during the 2003 WNBA season.
