Svend Robinson

ABOUT SVEND ROBINSON

Politician who is recognized for having been a member of Canada's Parliament from 1979 to 2004. He represented suburban Vancouver-area constituencies of Burnaby for the New Democratic Party.

He obtained a law degree from the University of British Columbia . He later studied international law at the London School of Economics.

He served as a consultant with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

He is married to Max Riveron.

He heckled former US President Ronald Reagan for his Strategic Defense Initiative.
