ABOUT SYDNEY AFFOLTER

College guard and athlete that first enrolled into the University of Iowa as a freshman in the year 2021. As a junior, she helped her team win the 2024 Big Ten Championship. During her collegiate years, she has played in two NCAA National Championships and she has been named a member of Iowa's Dean List.

She is a graduate of Marist Catholic High School. While there, she was a three-time member of Illinois' All-State team.

She made her first career start as a student at Iowa, while playing against Kansas State University on the date of November 16, 2023. Unfortunately, her and her teammates lost the game with a score of 65-58. She stands five feet, 11 inches tall.

Growing up, she lived with her family in Chicago, Illinois. She is one of two siblings.

She was a college teammate of Caitlin Clark while at Iowa.
