ABOUT TAELON PETER

Former Conference USA Sixth Man of the Year that played college basketball at Liberty University from 2024 until 2025. He also played college basketball at Arkansas Tech University and Tennessee Tech during his NCAA career. After graduating from college, he was then drafted by the Indiana Pacers in 2025.

He initially began his collegiate basketball career at Tennessee Tech. He eventually transferred to Arkansas Tech University as a sophomore.

In 2024, he led Arkansas Tech to a GAC conference title and he was also named the GAC Player of the Year. He scored exactly 1,321 points in just three years at Arkansas Tech.

He grew up living with his mother and his brothers in the state of Arkansas. He is the son of Jamie Peter.

He credits Derrick Rose as being one of his biggest basketball influences while coming up.
