Notable for her role as Shannon Taylor on the television series Falcon Crest, she is perhaps most famous as the daughter of screen actress Raquel Welch .

When Latanne Rene "Tahnee" Welch was just six years old, she was photographed with her mother for an issue of Ladies Home Journal.

During the early 1990s, she was romantically involved with TV actor Jared Harris , who is the son of actors Richard Harris and Elizabeth Rees-Williams.

She and her older brother, Damon, were born during their mother's brief marriage to James Welch . Raquel Welch was later married to Patrick Curtis, Andre Weinfeld , and Richard Palmer.

She appeared with Italian actress Virna Lisi in the 1984 film Amarsi un Po'.
