ABOUT TALAT XHAFERI
Macedonian politician known for being President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia and for being the Minister of Defense from 2013 to 2014.
He attended the Belgrade Military High School. He then had a military career up until he switched to politics in the year 2002 after he was first elected to the Macedonian parliament.
He is fluent in several languages including Albanian, Macedonian, Serbian, Croatian, and English.
He was born in the village of Forino near Gostivar in what was formerly Yugoslavia and is now Macedonia. He has two children.
He witnessed when Edi Rama was splattered with ink during a heated political discussion.
