Talbert Wesley Swan II

ABOUT TALBERT WESLEY SWAN II

Religious leader who has served as a prelate in the Church of God in Christ and as a bishop of the Vermont Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. He has also served as the Assistant General Secretary and Director of Social Justice Ministry.

He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Western New England University before going on to also earn his Master of Arts degree in theology from Harford Seminary.

He has served as the National Chaplain of the Iota Phi Theta fraternity. He also hosts a radio talk show called The Spoken Word.

He was born to parents Fred Allen Swan, Sr. and DeLois Fason Swan. He and his wife Cynthia Ann Davis Swan are the parents of 10 children.

Both he and John Drew Sheard Sr. have served as Bishops of the Church of God in Christ.
