Wife of musician and actor Theodore Bikel and an acclaimed choral conductor.

She studied conducting and piano at the Juilliard School of Music.

She toured all over Europe and stopped for a while in Turkey to conduct the Istanbul Symphony.

She was married to Theodore Bikel for four years before her unexpected death.

She collaborated with Zubin Mehta on some choral works.
