Producer and director of development known for her work on The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides . She has worked for Identity Films, an indie production company that has produced titles such as China's Artful Dissident and Outback Rabbis.

She has a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University .

In 2015, she gave a suicide awareness and prevention speech on behalf of The Trevor Project.

She is the daughter of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Liaquat Ahamed and journalist Meenakshi Ahamed. In June of 2012, she married Jonathan Tucker . The couple share twin boys, Hayes and India, who were born in May of 2019.

Johnny Depp was one of the cast members for her film, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
